ABA's ring dropping machines are designed to place ArmLok and NormLock sealing rings on top of filled containers. These units are mounted directly to the conveyor and can be offered in quart and gallon sizes. Adjustable starwheels are mounted to the outfeed section of the ring dropper to ensure centered placement, and the units are height adjustable. The height adjustment is such that it accommodates different sized containers or to allow for other containers to pass beneath the unit without having a ring dropped.
Ring droppers can be a valuable addition to any custom filling machine and are easy to install and use. Our ring droppers also pair well with our roller lid press units which can be mounted further downstream on the fill line to firmly press the rings in place.
