ABA's bottom fill volumetric filling machine model ABA-FILL-BFxEA is designed to bottom fill containers and can be supplied with either our 1 gallon or our 5 gallon volumetric piston pumps.
ABA uses double acting positive displacement volumetric piston pumps which have long lives and operate at high speeds due to liquid being on both sides of the piston. In both sizes, we offer gravity or powered check valves, just another way we can customize equipment to best suit your needs. Our bottom fill filling machines typically use our diving lance style fill heads to begin the fill from the bottom of the container. Servo motors or pneumatic air cylinders control and monitor the rise of the carriage as it fills. Leaving the lance submerged in liquid prevents foaming or static buildup, and as a result, we offer many intrinsically safe filling machines in bottom fill mode.
As with any of our custom filling machines, our lid placing and lid closing equipment pair well with the ABA-FILL-BFxEA and help to create an efficient filling line for any facility.
Bottom fill filling machines also work well with bottles or other closed neck containers for more precision fills and less spills or mess.
