ABA-COV-BC-1.25x19 is a diving lance style fill head with a 1.25 inch outer diameter and a 19 inch long lance. This fill head is designed to bottom fill containers and can be used in conjunction with any of our bottom fill filling machines.
Our bottom fill filling machines are designed to fill below the level of the liquid to minimize foaming. Submerging the fill nozzle beneath the product as it is filling prevents air in the product, and helps to eliminate foaming. This in turn allows the products to be filled more quickly.
The diving lance is lowered into the bottom of the container and is slowly raised as the container is filled with liquid, continually keeping the fill lance submerged. We offer two methods of raising the fill lance, either with a servo motor or an air cylinder.
