ABA-M429 is a net weight filling machine designed to inline fill on 4 heads. This liquid filling machine is for a C1D1 (Class 1, Division 1) hazardous area and features a lid dropper and roller lid press.

ABA-M429 - 4 head, Net weight, C1D1, LDHS, Press

Our ABA-LDHS lid dropper is designed to drop lids from 1/2 pint through 1 gallon sizes. These units can be used with both plastic and metal lids and they mount to all of our roller lid presses. Lid droppers are supplied with interchangeable star wheels for lid alignment and have a 24" standard vertical hopper. Optionally, a 72" downstacker can be added which gives additional capacity and allows operators to pre-load a substantial number of lids. Because the lid droppers are not stand alone units, and must be mounted to presses, they are height adjustable via the crank handle located on the lid press unit. The rest of the size adjustment is achieved with ratchet handles which are easy to operate and do not require the use of additional tools. These self centering units make high speed lid dropping a breeze.

The roller lid press featured on this machine is our 1 gallon model, ABA-PRESS-1NAR. This press is designed to press lids onto containers from half pint through 1 gallon sizes and has full height adjustment using a crank handle. The chain and sprockets used to move the press up and down are safely covered with a stainless steel sheet metal guard. The press features 19 gradually declining steel rollers to firmly press on lids, and our presses all have optional no lid sensors which can be mounted to the exit end of the unit to detect if any containers pass beneath it with no lid. If a lidless container is detected, the whole cycle will stop to prevent spills our a buildup of containers on the conveyor.

ABA has a wide array of machines designed for C1D1 and C1D2 environments. These intrinsically safe filling machines are available in volumetric or net weight and can be semi or fully automatic. We are constantly looking for ways to imrpove the usability and function of our machines in addition to keeping them fast and efficient. One such measure is the addition of an intrinsically safe mouse which is used to control touch screens in a hazardous environment where static cannot exist. These mice make navigating the HMI simpler, faster, and more hassle free which in turn helps the operator keep the machine running at speed and producing the results needed.  Please contact us for more information on how we can best design a machine to suit your hazardous environment.
