Our double acting positive displacement piston pumps are faster and have a longer life than single acting pumps as both sides of the piston are flooded with liquid at all times. Semi-automatic liquid filling machines require the operator to manually position the container under the fill head and require minimal set-up when changing container size. Submerging the fill nozzle beneath the product as it is filling prevents air in the product, and helps to eliminate foaming. This in turn allows the products to be filled more quickly. Available with one gallon or five gallon double acting volumetric pumps, each container is filled quickly as the diving lance monitors the product inside the container and submerges the nozzle beneath the liquid surface. The diving lance is lowered into the bottom of the container and is slowly raised as the container is filled with liquid. We offer two methods of raising the fill lance, either with a Servo motor or an air cylinder. This unit has an ergonomically low loading conveyor which is especially beneficial for higher speed applications and loading heavy metal lids. Stacks of lids are conveyed into the lid stacker, raised, and rotated to the escapement chute. This unit self-centers the lids on the containers as they pass below it.
