Submerging the fill nozzle beneath the product as it is filling prevents air in the product, and helps to eliminate foaming. This in turn allows the products to be filled more quickly. The diving lance is lowered into the bottom of the container and is slowly raised as the container is filled with liquid, continually keeping the fill lance submerged. We offer two methods of raising the fill lance, either with a servo motor or an air cylinder. Features: Hand crank with chain and sprockets allows for height adjustment Stainless steel sheet metal guard covers chain and sprockets 5 lead in rollers and 6 powered rollers firmly press lids on	ABA-COV-85QTS-2STAGE is a two stage, cone style fill head with a 2 inch S-Line inlet and a 1.85 inch diameter outlet for filling quart and gallon cans. A 2 stage fill head eliminates the need for a ball valve because it opens fully at the beginning of a fill and then closes part way in order to dribble for the end of the fill before closing completely when the fill is complete.
