Our double acting positive displacement piston pumps are faster and have a longer life than single acting pumps as both sides of the piston are flooded with liquid at all times. Submerging the fill nozzle beneath the product as it is filling prevents air in the product, and helps to eliminate foaming. This in turn allows the products to be filled more quickly. Available with one gallon or five gallon double acting volumetric pumps, each container is filled quickly as the diving lance monitors the product inside the container and submerges the nozzle beneath the liquid surface. The diving lance is lowered into the bottom of the container and is slowly raised as the container is filled with liquid. We offer two methods of raising the fill lance, either with a Servo motor or an air cylinder. Submerging the fill nozzle beneath the product as it is filling prevents air in the product, and helps to eliminate foaming and static buildup. This in turn allows the products to be filled more quickly and in a safer manner. On our bottom fill machines, the diving lance style fill head is lowered into the bottom of the container utilizing either a Servo motor or a pneumatic air cylinder. Both methods offer accurate and easily adjustable filling and tracking. Once the fill cycle starts, the fill carraige slowly rises, drawing the fill head(s) up as it goes. As the container is filled with liquid, the head of the fill lance remains submerged under the level of the liquid. These paint filling machines are highly accurate and will increase the efficiency of any plant. A 2 stage fill head eliminates the need for a ball valve because it opens fully at the beginning of a fill and then closes part way in order to dribble for the end of the fill before closing completely when the fill is complete.
