Submerging the fill nozzle beneath the product as it is filling prevents air in the product, and helps to eliminate foaming. This in turn allows the products to be filled more quickly. The diving lance is lowered into the bottom of the container and is slowly raised as the container is filled with liquid, continually keeping the fill lance submerged. We offer two methods of raising the fill lance, either with a servo motor or an air cylinder. Features: Hand crank with chain and sprockets allows for full height adjustment from half pint through 1 gallon (5 liter) containers. 19 x 1 inch diameter gradually declining steel rollers to firmly press on lids. Rollers have 1/4 inch thick steel walls and are mounted on 1/4 inch stainless steel shafts using 2 x 1/4 inch double shielded bearings. Stainless steel sheet metal guard covers chain and sprockets.	The ABA-PRESS-5NAR is a standard 5 gallon Non-powered Automatic Roller lid press unit. This unit has an ergonomically low loading conveyor which is especially beneficial for higher speed applications and loading heavy metal lids. Stacks of lids are conveyed into the lid stacker, raised, and rotated to the escapement chute. This unit self-centers the lids on the containers as they pass below it. This design provides a good middle ground between a fully automatic lid placer and having an operator manually place lids one by one. This chute allows the operator to pre-load lids and then step away to work on other machine components before it is necessary to replenish the chute.	Bottom Fill Volumetric Electronic Automatic eXplosion Proof Liquid Filling Machine The ABA-FILL-BF Bottom Fill Series are designed to fill below the level of the liquid to minimize foaming. Available with one gallon or five gallon double acting volumetric pumps, each container is filled quickly as the diving lance monitors the product inside the container and submerges the nozzle beneath the liquid surface. The diving lance is lowered into the bottom of the container and is slowly raised as the container is filled with liquid. We offer two methods of raising the fill lance, either with a Servo motor or an air cylinder. A 2 stage fill head eliminates the need for a ball valve because it opens fully at the beginning of a fill and then closes part way in order to dribble for the end of the fill before closing completely when the fill is complete.
