ABA's newest lid dropper unit, ABA-M365 is a high speed lid dropper and roller lid press unit with vibratory downstacker for extra lid capacity.
Our ABA-LDHS is a high speed lid dropper unit designed to drop metal and plastic lids from 1/2 pint through 1 gallon size. These units are not stand-alone and are therefore mounted to our roller lid presses. Size adjustment is fast and easy and does not require any additional tooling, and is instead performed using ratchet handles on the lid dropper itself. The lid dropper comes with a starwheel to correctly align lids before they pass under the lid press. The standard hopper has a 24" capacity, and the downstacker offers an additional 72" capacity.
This machine features our 1 gallon roller lid press, ABA-PRESS-1NAR which uses 19 steel rollers to firmly press lids on containers from 1/2 pint through 1 gallon sizes. Like all of our presses, the 1 gallon press features a crank handle on one corner to make height adjustment simple and quick. The sprockets and chains which help make this possible are safely covered with a stainless steel sheet metal cover.
