Our new High Speed Chute based 5 Gallon Plastic Lid Placer is specially designed to self center the lids on the containers as they pass below the unit. This makes this unit more
forgiving for setup and operation and less worry for maintenance.
The ABA-LPHCS-5 5 Gallon Plastic Lid Placer can be fully integrated with the ABA-PRESS-5NR-14.5 5 Gallon Roller Lid Press unit and control panel with remote interface.
The remote interface allows fault signaling and remote start/stop to be performed from a centralized control system.
Automatic chute replenishment allows the unit to keep the dropper chute constantly charged ready for the next container.
The lid stacker holds around 80 plastic container lids.
Adjustable release paddles ensures that the unit will work with almost any shaped container
Places 5 gallon plastic lids.
Self centering of lids makes setup easier.
Automatic lid priming keeps the lid chute full and ready for the next container.
In feed line stops automatically space incoming containers.
Low lid stack notifications.

Hand crank with chain and
sprockets allows for full height adjustment for different height pails.
32 x 1” diameter steel rollers mounted
along a 3 foot press zone gradually press the
lids firmly into place by declining each roller along
the press path.
The rollers have 1/4 inch thick steel
walls and are mounted
on 1/4 inch stainless steel shafts using 2 x 1/4 inch double
shielded bearings.
Each press is fitted with a Container Anti-Tip
Mechanism to stop the
containers tipping as they exit the Lid Press. *(see details below)
Stainless steel sheet metal guard covers
chain and sprockets.

All ABA Roller Lid Presses have the "Lid Press Anti-Tip
Mechanism" attached to the out feed end of the Lid Press
unit.
Although our Lid Presses have level rollers for the final
area of the Press, some containers can still try and tip as
they exit. The "Lid Press Anti-Tip Mechanism" attached
to the Lid Press helps prevent the containers tipping as
they exit.
